8 Month Massage Therapy Career Training Program

National Holistic Institute, A College of Massage Therapy, has joined forces with Institute of Technology, Redding. Together, we are expanding our massage program to new areas to keep up with the demand for new massage therapists.

Massage Therapy has become the most widely used complementary care modality in the United States. More and more people turn to massage to treat injury, reduce pain and ease stress.

Whether you’re just starting out, ready to make a career change, or perhaps looking for a second source of income, you owe it to yourself to consider your potential in massage therapy. If you’re a compassionate, intuitive person interested in holistic healing and helping others, massage therapy is a great choice for a rewarding career with a great job outlook!

Become A Qualified Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapy Training Program at National Holistic Institute (NHI) provides hands-on training, practical experience and industry support you need to become a qualified and confident massage therapist.

Real World Training

Massage is unquestionably a hands-on field, and at NHI we believe that’s how it should be taught. As a student in our program you’ll work on the public, under the guidance of licensed instructors, in our on-campus clinics. You’ll feel comfortable and fully prepared to transition from being a student to working as a massage therapy professional after gaining so much direct, real world experience before you graduate.

Convenient Morning, Afternoon & Evening Schedules

This program is designed to fit the needs of busy adult learners. We understand the lives our students lead, and how important it is to have balance. Many students are working, taking care of family and/or juggling other commitments while they attend school. Choose the schedule that best fits your lifestyle.

The full-time program can be completed in 8 months.
The part-time program can be completed in 10 months or 12 months.

Get Prepared for California State Certification

Upon completion of this program, graduates are fully prepared and qualified to take the MBLEX exam required for California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) Certification.

After completing 500 hours of the program, you’ll be eligible to begin the application process for CAMTC certification. Once you’re certified you can work in the massage therapy field. If you become certified before graduating the program, you can begin working while you finish your training.

Get The Support You Need To Launch A Successful Career

Massage training isn’t about getting a diploma to hang on the wall – it’s about developing the future you desire. As an NHI student you will be mentored by a dedicated and passionate team of massage therapy professionals committed to your success. You will also have access to a Student Life and Career Counselorto assist you with each step of becoming a massage therapist.

It is our mission at NHI to help you find work you love. In 2013 and 2014 over 87% of our graduates were working in the field of massage therapy.

Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.

I am a recent graduate of the NMT program. NHI has been the most amazing experience of my life and it’s been the best decision of my life. Since taking this program, my clientele have come to me and said, “I’ve never had an experience like this in my life.” This program will take you beyond the competency of being a massage therapist to a high knowledge of knowing more than just massage.

WHY ACCREDITATION IS IMPORTANT

Accreditation is the process of evaluating a school or educational training program to determine whether it meets standards set up by an accrediting organization. When you attend an accredited institution, you are attending a school that has undergone a rigorous process that evaluates educational quality. It’s not easy to become or remain an accredited institution. The rules and regulations are strict, precise and designed to protect students. Here are some of the benefits:

  • A reliable indicator of quality
  • Approved program of study
  • Qualified instructors
  • Recognition by employers nationwide

WHAT OUR GRADUATES SAY
“There are so many different pathways into choosing which field of massage therapy you would like to enter into. I had two interviews in one week and it was just exciting to know, “oh, which job can I choose from?” I was really able to get right into the massage field and get hired right away.”
