Please join Cynthia Ribiero, on Saturday, December 3rd at NHI Emeryville Campus for this one day in-person massage therapy continuing education workshop.
Cynthia, has a degree in physical education, studied surgical nursing and graduated from two massage school programs. She founded the Western Institute of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, and was appointed honorary clinical professor at the University of California-Irvine Medical School in 2003. Currently, she is advanced program developer and instructor at the National Holistic Institute, as well as a past president of AMTA.
You will learn about:
- repetitive motion
- myofascial pain and dysfunction
- muscles involved with shoulder pain; more specifically Shoulder Impingement Syndrome
- how to differentiate between rotator cuff tendinosis, bursitis, and bicipital tenosynovitis
- neuromuscular therapy techniques to re-educate the neuromuscular pattern due to myofascial pain and dysfunction by utilizing orthopedic assessment, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, PNF techniques, and multi-directional deep transverse friction.
WORKSHOP COST: $500
EARLY BIRD WORKSHOP COST: $300 if registered before 11/13
