Pain which may originate from the Sacroiliac Joint, (SI Joint) is most likely more common than reported due to the challenges of localizing symptoms and referred pain patterns. SI Joint pain can refer to the buttocks, lower lumbar region, groin, and lateral thigh. Those that are experiencing SI Joint Dysfunction describe difficulty getting out of deep seated chairs, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time, climbing stairs, and may also experience numbness and tingling in the leg.
You will learn neuromuscular therapy techniques to re-educate the neuromuscular pattern due to myofascial pain and dysfunction by utilizing orthopedic assessment, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, PNF techniques, and multi-directional deep transverse friction.
