WHY ACCREDITATION IS IMPORTANT

Accreditation is the process of evaluating a school or educational training program to determine whether it meets standards set up by an accrediting organization. When you attend an accredited institution, you are attending a school that has undergone a rigorous process that evaluates educational quality. It’s not easy to become or remain an accredited institution. The rules and regulations are strict, precise and designed to protect students. Here are some of the benefits:

  • A reliable indicator of quality
  • Approved program of study
  • Qualified instructors
  • Recognition by employers nationwide

WHAT OUR GRADUATES SAY
NHI had a full curriculum that I really enjoyed. I also really loved the campus – the campus was just beautiful. Because of my education at NHI, I was able to not only get a job as a massage therapist, but I actually ended up buying a spa right before I graduated. I had no intention of buying a spa but because the previous owner was looking to sell it and she knew I went to NHI she decided that I would be a good fit to purchase her spa.

WHAT OUR EMPLOYERS SAY
We hire graduates from NHI because we find them very well prepared for all aspects of massage in our spa. They have excellent knowledge of their craft and have experienced a clinical setting. The clinical setting prepares them for the high level of customer service Burke Williams’s client’s demand. The educational setting prepares them to learn our signature services with ease and continue to grow with our organization.

There are several benefits of a 900 hour program. First the therapist are able to test out for Deep Tissue and Pregnancy modalities right away and begin performing these services. Second, the therapist are also able to gain repeat clients quickly because they have the knowledge, skill and communication tools that enable them to make a difference in the client’s well being. Third, each therapist comes with an understanding that knowledge is powerful so when they are asked to attend further training classes to learn our signature services they welcome the opportunity to learn more.
