Since becoming a student at NHI, I have developed a greater sense of purpose and significance in my life. The instructors truly care about each student as a person and as a rising colleague in the industry of massage. Clients respect that we are students while also appreciating the level of expertise and knowlege we provide for their bodies and overall well-being. I recommend NHI to anyone interested in the field of massage and to everyone with a desire to implement a massage regimen into their lives.

In May of 2009 I changed the course of my life by attending NHI. Because of a phenomenal staff, I was able to re-invent myself and establish a new career. It was an amazing experience and I am excitedly building a practice in Santa Rosa. But what is most incredible of all is that I recently discovered the basic foundations I learned at NHI prepared me for some very challenging times I have faced in my personal life. Friends and family have told me that I definitely changed since beginning the program and I am better equipped to handle all that life throws me. Thank you NHI for teaching me to be grounded, mindful and present!

If you’re looking for the best massage school coupled by the highest caliber faculty and administration it’s equal, NHI is it. Having been in massage education for several years, I can say shy from any doubt, the school, curriculum to teaching standards far exceeds anything I’ve experienced in the industry.Something magical happens when you combine 30 years of commitment, 1 part faculty superb and their continual drive for further improvements. It was no surprise when I heard NHI was awarded massage school of the year. If you’re thinking about massage education, invest a bit of time at on campus, talk to the teachers and definitely sit in on a class.

WHAT OUR GRADUATES SAY

“The people at NHI have brought me to a place where I believe in myself. I walked into the door and I immediately felt like I was at home. NHI has given me the opportunity to find work that I love.”

WHY ACCREDITATION IS IMPORTANT

Accreditation is the process of evaluating a school or educational training program to determine whether it meets standards set up by an accrediting organization. When you attend an accredited institution, you are attending a school that has undergone a rigorous process that evaluates educational quality. It’s not easy to become or remain an accredited institution. The rules and regulations are strict, precise and designed to protect students. Here are some of the benefits:

  • A reliable indicator of quality
  • Approved program of study
  • Qualified instructors
  • Recognition by employers nationwide

Before NHI, I was doing the mom thing…feeling very safe and comfortable. Going to NHI was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. I chose NHI because of what they offered, not just learning the skill of massage but also learning marketing skills, and business skills. I now have my own practice with a team of five massage therapists.
