CE Class Details
This Course is a combination of an Online Science & Theory Course and a 4 day 32 hour, Hands on Class for Body Workers to learn Manual Lymph Drainage(MLD) for all parts of the body.
This complete MLD Training Series for Body Workers offers:
Knowledge for:
The understanding the pathways of the lymph vessel system (LVS) and how MLD effects them
Where the fluid in the dermis comes from
Recognizing indications and the contraindications for MLD
The effects MLD has on other systems in the body
Competence in:
Speaking to clients about how MLD can affect their specific conditions
Knowing the relationship between the physiology of the lymph system and the application of MLD
Being able to apply MLD to all parts of the body with healthy outcomes for clients
Abilities:
Mastering the hands-on application of MLD, a new paradigm of healing and health
This Hands-on Class will give you the ability to apply MLD for conditions such as:
Chronic pain
Trauma
Chronic Fatigue
Fibromyalgia
Muscle sprains and strains
Edemas from illness and surgeries
Pre-surgery treatment

Instructor Bio | Gay Lee Gulbrandson
Gay Lee Gulbrandson is a Dr. Vodder School certified MLD Therapist, was a certified Dr. Vodder School Instructor from 2002-2019, a Lymphedema Association of North America (LANA) Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has taught MLD to body workers and estheticians since 2002, continuing in 2022 with her own School of MLD(tm). She is a continuing education Approved Provider through NCBTMB. Gay Lee’s teaching inspires health care professionals to address physical symptoms of over 60 pathologies and to treat pre and post surgical patients whose swelling related conditions are often inadequately managed. She also maintains a thriving private practice in MLD and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) in Berkeley, California.
