WHY ACCREDITATION IS IMPORTANT

Accreditation is the process of evaluating a school or educational training program to determine whether it meets standards set up by an accrediting organization. When you attend an accredited institution, you are attending a school that has undergone a rigorous process that evaluates educational quality. It’s not easy to become or remain an accredited institution. The rules and regulations are strict, precise and designed to protect students. Here are some of the benefits:

  • A reliable indicator of quality
  • Approved program of study
  • Qualified instructors
  • Recognition by employers nationwide

The Spring Of 2018 change my life forever. It changed because I made the decision to look into this amazing school. Hesitant at first because of my busy schedule as a Certified Nurses Assistant I wondered could I work and go to school full time? The answer is YES! This school has a flexible schedule anyone can work with. So I went for it!

Working full time and going to school full time + Externship. Enduring the Carr fire Together as a family & helping the community where we could. Setting up all of the open houses to raise money and support our first responders was an amazing experience.

At the near end of my senior segment I made the decision with a fellow classmate/friend to open our private practice Body Recalibration Massage Therapy.
8 months later & 800+ hours finished, we made it! With the bittersweet goodbye & friendships/family to last a lifetime it was time to go our separate ways.

Now I have successfully retained clients Over the last year and a half. Multiple Contracts with local businesses for massages. And continued education as a Bellanina Facelift Massage Practitioner. All of this was possible because of this school. But mainly the Redding, CA campus! The instructors and guidance that is shared in this location can make anyone successful.

2 1/2 years later and I now have current students from NHI coming to Body Recalibration Massage Therapy to learn more in a different setting. I enjoy working and learning how each individual has a different massage style. Yesterday was the last day with my student and I couldn’t be more proud of how far she has come. She applied such dedication over the last 8 months, even with the COVID pandemic.

All of this was possible because of the dedication to NHI. It was the best decision I have made. It opened my heart and eyes to the world of Massage Therapy and I am forever grateful.
