Recommended Reviews of NHI
I graduated Nhi may 2014 and that was the best experience I could have ever asked for. Not only did I learn so much about massage but also about my self. No matter where I go in life I will always take what I learned at Nhi with me.
I also made friends and and mentors that will forever be a part of my life.
I am a graduate of NHI and I am so thankful to have chosen this school. Financial aid was provided, I could work off tuition through their Work Study program. The school clinic is a great way to practice your learned skills with the public under the guidance of the instructors. Teaching methods help those with individual ways of learning. You don’t learn your basic get-me-started massage, you learn MANY modalities and concepts to start your own practice, should you choose, right out of school. They prepare you far in advance for the massage field. I had a job offer before I graduated. NHI grads are highly desired in the field because of the large variety of modalities and applied sciences learned. As far as getting a massage at the student clinic, it is a great deal and you’re supporting students who have chosen this field in health care. Many people I’ve talked with have compared other student clinics to NHI’s and they have been very impressed with the professionalism seen. Yes, it is not a spa. Come check out the school and help support students taught by very educated instructors and see why NHI won Best Massage School of 2012.
I graduated from NHI in 2002 from the Emeryville campus. 9 years later they hired me to teach at the Sacramento campus. The biggest thing I can say about NHI is that they have a 30 year history of excellence. They have a plan and it works. Continuity is also a plus. Not only does my teacher from 2000 still work there, she runs the Sacramento campus. NHI is a leader in massage therapy and it shows in everything we do. When you tour our campus you will see it written on our walls and carried out in the classroom. If you can see yourself being Respectful, Employable and Professional this is the place for you. Just check out our mission statement, “Helping people have work they love!”. Come and visit!
Get Prepared for California State Certification
Upon completion of this program, graduates are fully prepared and qualified to take the MBLEX exam required for California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) Certification.
After completing 500 hours of the program, you’ll be eligible to begin the application process for CAMTC certification. Once you’re certified you can work in the massage therapy field. If you become certified before graduating the program, you can begin working while you finish your training.
Hands down, the BEST massage school around that not only made me a successful massage therapist with a thriving private practice, but also a better person in every aspect of my life. Thank you, NHI!
