Massage Schools: Myofascial Therapy Massage Training

Myofascial Therapy Massage Training

"Myo" means muscle, and "fascia" is a layer of wrapping around all muscles in the body. When these are injured or "stuck," the body is out of balance.

This class teaches techniques that will help correct both new and long-term postural conditions, as well as issues with limited movement.

Students also learn to assess the particular needs of this specific client - clients want a massage tailored especially for them!

This series is taught in conjunction with our anatomy series (Kinesiology), and is the practical application of information students have learned in anatomy classes.

All of this work is a from of what is called "deep tissue" work.
