Sports Massage Class Observation
Join us at NHI Modesto for a complimentary Sports Massage Class Observation on Thursday, September 11 from 8:45am to 12:45pm.
This class provides a dynamic and hands-on learning experience focused on the assessment and treatment of muscle cramps in athletic populations. The session begins with a brief review of the physiological causes of cramping, including dehydration, electrolyte imbalance. Students engage in interactive discussions about prevention strategies and the importance of client education.
Throughout the class, students practice targeted massage techniques designed to relieve acute cramping and support recovery. This includes passive stretching with an emphasis on client communication and comfort. The instructor offers real-time feedback, helping students refine their palpation skills and adjust pressure appropriately.
A highlight of the session is the practical application segment, where students work in pairs to simulate real-world scenarios involving athletes experiencing cramps during performance. This allows for critical thinking and quick decision-making under pressure, reinforcing the importance of both technical skill and professional demeanor.
Join us for a well-structured, engaging, and highly relevant to sports massage therapy class observation. Leave with a deeper understanding of how to effectively address muscle cramps and integrate these techniques into their future practice.
Receive $500 off tuition when you enroll by 9/15/25 for our upcoming October classes.
