National Holistic Institute understands that proper massage training is fundamental to your career success. With so many choices, finding the right school of massage can be challenging. In order to support you in making this important decision we have compiled the following list of frequently asked questions. Does your massage therapy school focus exclusively on massage therapy education?

Yes – NHI has been devoted exclusively to massage therapy education for over 30 years.

Is NHI’s massage therapy training nationally accredited?

Yes – NHI was California’s first accredited massage therapy school.

Does NHI school of massage offer federal financial aid?

Yes –  We are approved by the United States Department of Education allowing us to offer financial aid to those who qualify. We also have a variety of other financial options including career loans and monthly payment plans.

Can I get massage therapy grants?

NHI is eligible to provide federal and state grant funding which you can use toward your massage therapy education.

Does NHI massage school offer a massage therapy degree?

Although not technically a massage therapy degree, as an NHI graduate you would receive a massage therapy diploma titled Massage Therapist and Health Educator, which qualifies you to take the national massage certification exam.

Will NHI’s massage training curriculum prepare me for a career in massage therapy?

Yes, our Massage Therapy Training Program gives you the skills that employers demand while also providing you with the knowledge and confidence to build your own thriving personal practice. We have a comprehensive program that covers a variety of techniques within Western and Eastern modalities combined with business and science classes.

Does NHI provide work experience for students while in school?

Yes, during the course of our program, you will gain experience that will help you succeed as a massage therapist while obtaining skills that employer’s value. We have a robust teaching clinic with over 1,000 client appointments every month. Our students also complete an off-campus externship in a wide variety of settings such as, sports teams, spas and chiropractor’s offices.

Will NHI help me to find a job after I graduate?

Yes, our massage therapy schools offer career placement assistance; our staff has relationships with many employers in the massage therapy industry. We also have a preferred partnership with a variety of employers that come directly to NHI to hire our graduates.
