NHI Open House

Come to any of our campuses to talk to representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Education, Placement, and the Advanced Program. Current students will be offering chair massage, aromatherapy, and shiatsu massage, to give a little taste of what you could be learning as a student at NHI massage therapy school.

NHI Expert Panel

Discussion and Q & A with a wide spectrum of professionals in the massage industry: spa managers, chiropractors, athletic trainers, sports medicine professionals, doctors, and others. Some of these panelists may be possible employers of massage therapists, an NHI instructor, or even a highly successful graduate of NHI’s massage therapy school.

NHI Experience Event

This is similar to the NHI Open House, but provides a more in-depth preview of what it’s like to be a student at NHI. Prospective students get to hear from alumni about their experience and success after graduation, while learning about our comprehensive curriculum, upcoming schedule, financial aid options, and our lifetime career placement services from the faculty and staff of NHI massage therapy school.

Free Sampler Classes—Advanced 450-Hour NMT Program

These NHI massage school events are for current NHI students, alumni, and massage therapists enrolled in our Employer Referral Program. Other professionals in the healthcare industry such as chiropractors, nurses, acupuncturists, personal trainers, physical therapists, and more could benefit from these classes and are invited to attend as well. All Advanced Sampler Classes count as Continuing Education Units. Each class is led by one of our Advanced Program teachers and gives a brief synopsis of the full Advanced 450-Hour NMT Program, discuss finding mechanisms of injury, and applying techniques to release trigger points in order to alleviate pain and tension. Sampler classes are about three hours long and include lecture followed by clothed bodywork. Class topics are pulled straight from our Advanced Program curriculum and cover such topics as whiplash, headaches, tennis elbow, and more.

Free Sampler Classes—Massage Therapy Training Program

These NHI massage school events are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about massage and NHI’s Massage Therapy Training Program. Each sampler class is led by one of our teachers and conducted exactly like it would be if it were a normal class in our Core Program, so prospective students gain a greater understanding of what it’s like to be a student in NHI Sacramento’s massage therapy school. Sampler classes are about three hours long and include lecture followed by clothed bodywork. Class topics are pulled straight from our Core Program curriculum and cover such topics as Shiatsu massage, potent points in acupressure, foot reflexology, and more.

Class Observation

Sit in and observe current students in action. The Class Observation allows a prospective student to audit a complete, 4.5-hour class in the Core Program, or the Advanced Program for current massage therapists. During the bodywork portion, you will be paired with a current student, unless you are unable to participate in giving and receiving massage. An Admission Representative will be there to greet you at the beginning of class, and will check in with you during break or after class to answer any questions you may have about the NHI massage therapy school.
