Every Body Has A Story
This can be thought of in two ways: everybody has a story deserving of being heard. People—and the bodies they live in, have often been through a lot. Massage therapists are trained to listen to the “archeology” of their clients’ bodies; their aches and pains, traumas and neglect; joys and sadnesses. At the same time, every body has a story: we all come from different backgrounds and have lived through varying experiences. One of the intangible skills our students graduate with is the ability to listen to all of these stories with caring, attentive, listening hands and hearts.
